2021 was an exciting year for me! I rebranded my company, grew my team, tackled some big DIY projects, and introduced new products to the Home & Kind shop. As always, I’m so happy to have you all here and am filled with gratitude as I reflect on the past year.

As we head into 2022, I thought it would be fun to look back over this year and recap some of the highlights. Check out the list below for some of my most popular blog and Instagram posts from 2021!

1. Best Sports Bras with Built-In Cups

Sports bras. They’re a hot topic! You guys proved the power of a great sports bra, because this was my most liked post of the year! Check out the original post to discover which built-in cup sports bra is my absolutely favorite (along with tons of other great options!)

2. Outdoor Patio Table: DIY Guide

Affordable outdoor furniture has been hard to come by in 2021, so we decided to try building our own outdoor table. It took a bit of sweat equity, but the results are better than I could’ve expected! 3. Rainbow Food Board

I had so much fun creating this rainbow food board for St. Patrick’s Day. I’m glad you all loved it too! This was my most liked Instagram Reel of 2021. Check it out to make your own in 2022!

4. 5 Car Organization Tips

Car organization can certainly be tricky—especially if you have kids. I rounded up my best car organization tips in 2021, and it turned out to be one of my most popular blog posts. These five tips still hold up today, so give them a try: Here is the original post!

5. Omelet Burrito Recipe

Getting a good breakfast in can be a challenge, which is why I keep coming back to the same delicious, quick, and easy breakfast. Check out my Reel to learn how to make these popular omelet burritos!

6. Our Formal Dining Room Turned Office: Full Tour + Links

Knowing that custom built-ins can cost a small fortune, we decided to transform IKEA cabinets for the same built-in look. I covered the process in this guide to our dining room-turned office!

7. Home & Kind Rebrand Announcement

Rebranding my company was a big step this year, and I’m so glad it was well received! This year I changed my name from Homegrown Traditions to Home & Kind, which is a better reflection on where I am headed. The reveal of the new name happened to be one of my most liked Instagram posts. Thank you so much for the support!

8. Bedroom Decor Round-Up

Though we’ve been living in this house for more than five years, it has taken us awhile to slowly and steadily decorate everyone’s bedrooms. 9. The Best Soft Sugar Cookies

I fell in love with soft sugar cookies in college, and I’ve been making them regularly ever since.  There’s nothing like biting into a soft, chewy cookie flavored with a hint of almond and covered in a smooth frosting. Check out the tried and true recipe I keep coming back to!

10. Snack Tray Ideas

Apparently many of you struggle with getting back-to-school snacks on the table, just like I do! This round-up of snack tray ideas was one of my most liked Instagram posts this year, and I’m still referring to it when scrambling for snacks before my kids walk in the door.
