A home and lifestyle brand for families

Home and Kind (formerly Homegrown Traditions) was founded in 2016 as an online retailer selling home goods that supported family traditions.  Over the course of the next couple years, the business evolved into a content-based business with a focus on simple recipes, design, mom hacks, and intentional living.  In 2021 Home and Kind is moving forward with the same content-based ideals and a new focus on creating products for you home that help you simplify and streamline your routines.

About us

The daily grind and never ending to-do list can feel overwhelming at times.  And while that's a totally normal part of family life, we aim to incorporate products and systems that make things just a little bit easier.  We want you to feel empowered to create the life you want at home.

Our goal is to help simplify and streamline your approach to family life so you have more time to focus on what matters most.  Your family.

From easy meal prep ideas to transforming your cluttered game closet with zipper pouches, we share it all! Our primary focus is to serve you with practical content, ideas and products that truly work.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE

“Go forth with love to tell the world
the joy of families.”

— RUTH M GARDNER

I would describe myself as a "do-er".  When I get an idea, I'm ready to jump all in.  I love having a vision for something and then working hard to make it a reality.  I love feeling productive, but also love relaxing and taking vacations.

I believe people are inherently good.  I am an eternal optimist and try hard to see the silver lining in any situation.  I'm frightfully unobservant (don't ever ask me for directions), but love to laugh.  I believe we're all destined for greatness, so long as we don't get too distracted along the way.
