Some of my favorite gifts to plan each year are the ones for my neighbors. I love sharing something thoughtful yet practical! But sometimes finding something that works for a large number of people yet fits within a budget can be challenging. Here are my favorite ideas for the people you are surrounded by!
1. Gourmet Sweets

This is a Texas based company and they actually made a going away cake when we moved. To this day, it is the most AMAZING thing I have ever tasted. They just launched these different goodie bags and these would be perfect if holiday baking isn’t in your wheel-house or if you want to ship a delicious treat to a loved one far away. Fair warning though, you may eat the entire bag in one sitting if you keep them for yourself.
2. Batteries
Sometimes it’s nice to just give something super practical. When it comes to the holidays, what is more practical than batteries? The Amazon Basics brand works just as well as name brand and they are really long lasting. It may not be the fanciest gift, but it is one that will surely be used!
3. Sandwich Knife
I have been using these for years. They are truly the most wonderful accessory for sandwiches. You use the spatula side for application and the serrated side for cutting. It’s literally the best of both worlds!
4. Off Beat Nut Butters
I love these! It’s something a little different than the traditional. These are so good on sandwiches, toast, and oatmeal. Pair this with the knife and you have a dynamic duo!
5. Refrigerator Notepads
I feel like it is so nice to have something handy to take notes and the kitchen is the hub of our house. We like to use ours for grocery lists, meal plans, and to-do lists.
6. Screen Cleaning Wipes
We are all using screens a lot more these days. We are doing school and work from home so we are constantly surrounded by screens. These are the perfect amount of moistness (I know, I know, that word is so hated!) to clean without doing damage.
7. Business Card Holder
This is great for coworkers and professionals. I love that it comes in different color choices and has a magnetic closure. It’s very substantial so it won’t bend or ruin the business cards inside. It also has a tab for easy removal.
8. Oven Mitts + Pot Holders
I feel like oven mitts and pot holders are something I never think to buy. These ones are super cute with an adorable pattern. The lines are actually silicone so they have a great grip. Perfect for something super useful and stylish!
9. Homemade Goodie in a Jar
I would be doing you a disservice if I did not introduce you to the deliciousness that is buttermilk caramel syrup. I can’t even put into words how good it is. We like to give our neighbors homemade food items and one year I gave these buttermilk caramel syrups. I have never had so many compliments on a gift before! The recipe is easy and fail-proof and fantastic on literally anything. It’s to die for.
