I love trying new recipes and also trying new methods of cooking tried-and-true favorites. Recently, I started cooking grilled cheese sandwiches on a baking sheet in the oven, and I’ve been completely converted. It is the easiest way to cook for a crowd and results in lightly toasted bread and perfectly melted cheese each time. Sound too good to be true? I promise it’s not! Colby-Jack Cheese

Tomato Soup

I upgraded my rusted, ancient sheet that I have had forever to an amazing one by Nordic Ware from Walmart. Treat yourself and upgrade, too. It’s worth it! 

Pro Tip: Wash your sheet pans by hand and they won’t discolor over time.

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Then simply butter both sides of the bread and sandwich the cheese in between.

• Bake for 5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for 5 more minutes on the other side.

• Pair with tomato soup and you’ll have a staple meal that is loved by both kids and adults alike. It is literally as easy as that! You’ll never make grilled cheese sandwiches the same way again! 

Walmart+

I used Walmart+ for all of my supplies and ingredients. It is my favorite way to shop these days, since I don’t even need to leave the house! The pickup option is amazing, but the free delivery from the store has won my heart! ($35 minimum. Restrictions apply. Don’t forget to tip your driver – it’s well worth it!)
