Our teachers have really gone above and beyond this year. As I thought about what would make a good teacher gift, the sentiment of “making lemonade out of lemons” seemed fitting. I thought it would make a really fun gift basket for teachers to fill with all things yellow and lemonade.
You can download the free printable gift tag below. You can customize it with just a small lemonade gift (like lemon soap or sanitizing wipes), or put together a full basket.
First you’ll want to download your “You made lemonade out of lemons” teacher gift tag.
After downloading your gift tags, print them. I keep this card stock on hand for projects like this. I also just discovered the Avery gift tag templates and they are blowing my mind! The lemonade gift tags are formatted to fit the Avery 22802 template. All you have to do it print. All the edges are perforated, so just punch the tag out and use. Yellow twine is the perfect thing to tie the tag off with.
*Note: with the printable you receive 2 pages. Page 1 doesn’t have outlines around each tag and should be used with the Avery templates. Page 2 does have outlines around each tag and should be used when printing on card stock.
I walked the aisles of Target to find most of my lemonade-themed items. The beauty of this gift is that you can use as few or as many lemonade items as you’d like. I decided to include my favorite bright yellow Simple Modern tumbler in the gift basket (in case you missed it, check out my insulated tumbler test).
Time to package everything up! I grabbed some cute wire baskets from Five Below, but you could use any basket or cellophane bag to wrap up your gifts. Yellow twine is a cute way to tie the gift tag onto the package.
I hope this was a helpful idea for putting together a teacher gift basket. The gift tag isn’t teacher-themed so you can also use it for first responders, small business owners, principals, etc. So many people have stepped up to the plate this last year to make the best out of a tough situation.
