Patriotic Fruit Sparklers

These patriotic fruit sparklers are such a fun way to celebrate for the Fourth of July—or really any patriotic occasion!

And while they look like something out of a Martha Steward catalog, they couldn’t be easier to put together. In fact, you could round up your kids to help assemble them. (Or create a table at your next party and let the guests make their own!)

Here’s how to put together this festive and healthy snack:

Ingredients and Supplies

Slice the watermelon
  1. Slice your watermelon into several rounds.

2. Then use a star cookie cutter to create watermelon stars.

3. Start assembling the sparklers by adding a star to the top of the skewer.

4. Then alternate adding marshmallows and blueberries until you reach the bottom of the skewer.

Ingredients

  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • Star cookie cutter
  • Watermelon
  • Blueberries
  • Mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Slice your watermelon into several rounds.
  • Use a star cookie cutter to create watermelon stars.
  • Start assembling the sparklers by adding a star to the top of the skewer.
  • Alternate adding marshmallows and blueberries to the skewer until you reach the bottom.
