I love when screen time can be entertaining AND educational. Branchild on Netflix checks both boxes and is also interesting for kids of all ages and adults. Each show explores different scientific theories and ideas. There are exciting experiments that the audience can participate in and it’s fast-paced enough to keep the attention of the entire family.
Minute to Win It
Even though we’ve played Minute to Win It games in the past, my kids just discovered the show and have been loving it. It’s clean, entertaining, and gives use some great new ideas for Minute to Win It games to play on our own!
Africa
This documentary on Africa is visually stunning, incredibly well made, educational, and keeps the interest of our whole family. We love seeing the different animals and I am always in awe at how camera crews got all of the footage they did.
Planet Earth
This was the series that completely changed the way I see animals and the earth. It’s truly breathtaking and intriguing to watch each episode and learn about parts of the earth I didn’t even know existed. I love that our entire family is learning about the amazing earth we live on and the increased appreciation have of life and the ecosystem.
Planet Earth 2
Just as stunning as the original series, this second season introduces even more things on planet earth to appreciate and respect. We love this series just as much as the first!
