I’m all about keeping things simple with holidays (and life in general), but I do like to fancy things up a bit for special occasions. I finally got some Christmas dinnerware and I love the holiday spirit it brings to the table! I plan to have our table set like this on Christmas morning (when we eat our traditional cinnamon rolls) and for our feast on Christmas night.

Dinnerware

I got everything on our holiday table from Walmart! I saw these dishes from the Better Homes & Gardens line and instantly knew they’d be perfect. The gold silverware also adds a festive, special touch.

Linens

Cloth napkins with a red stripe detail are the perfect complement to the gold silverware. And I always have a large drop cloth on hand to use as a neutral tablecloth.

Centerpiece

You can create a beautiful holiday centerpiece with things right from your yard and kitchen. I cut down a few pine and holly branches from our backyard and layered them on the center of the table. Adding pomegranates and pears feels fresh and festive.
