Holidays are a great opportunity to incorporate acts of service into your family traditions. We love “egging” our friends and neighbors each Easter by hiding eggs in their front yard and leaving this note on their doorstep. My kids get really excited when any activity involves sneaking around, hiding things, and ringing someone’s doorbell while running away trying not to get caught.
This Easter service activity is simple. Download and print the free “You’ve Been Egged” printable. Get 12 plastic Easter eggs and fill 11 of them with candy (leaving one empty). Hide the eggs in a neighbor’s yard, place the card on their doorstep, ring the doorbell and run away! The recipient will be excited to go on an Easter egg hunt in their yard and your kids will create a memory they’ll never forget.
