After months of working out of my 15’x15′ home office, it was time for an upgrade! I wanted a space that felt like home but also gave our team room to spread out and work efficiently. Now that we’ve been in our new office for about six months, I’m excited to give you a full tour of Home & Kind HQ!

This space took a little time to come together, but it was worth the wait. From carefully choosing the right furniture to making it as functional (and beautiful!) as possible, this office is now the perfect home base for Home & Kind. We work here three days a week, shoot content at my house one day a week, and work remotely the other days—so having a dedicated space has been a game-changer for work/life balance.

Here’s a look at each area of the office, including where we sourced furniture and decor, plus a few favorite details along the way!

Entryway

First impressions matter, and I wanted the entry to feel welcoming while still being functional. One of my favorite design choices in this space was adding a round table in the center to display our cookbooks (shoutout to my friend Julia from Chris Loves Julia for this genius idea!). I thrifted this table from a local store and refinished it. The table itself is a gorgeous, neutral piece that sets the tone for the rest of the office. The gorgeous sideboard under the Home and Kind logo offers so much storage and really ground the space.

The Kitchenette

Every office needs a good snack station, and our kitchenette does the job! One of my favorite details here is the removable wallpaper from Ayara Home. Since this is a rental space, it was the perfect way to add personality without making permanent changes. The kitchenette is small but mighty, stocked with our favorite drinks, snacks, and everything we need to keep the team fueled throughout the day.

The Team Room

This is hands-down my favorite part of the office! The team conference table from Castlery is not only stunning, but it also has a leaf that stores in the table if we ever wanted to make the table smaller. Plus, this room gets the best light, thanks to two walls of windows overlooking a pond. It’s the perfect space for team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and plenty of good conversations.

We kept the rest of the room bright and airy with a mix of modern and classic furniture from Ikea, Castlery, and a few thrifted finds. The goal was to make it feel inviting while still being practical for work.

My Office

While I love our open team spaces, I also wanted a private office where I could focus when needed. This space is a mix of thrifted and refinished pieces, along with a few Target and Amazon finds to tie everything together. I kept it simple, cozy, and practical—everything I need to get work done without distractions!

The Bathroom

Even the bathroom got a little Home & Kind touch! We kept it simple with neutral decor and some thoughtful details to make it feel warm and inviting. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a space feel complete!

The Storage Room

This is where all the behind-the-scenes magic happens! From extra props to packaging supplies, this space helps keep everything organized and easy to access. We relied heavily on Ikea storage solutions to maximize the space and keep things functional.

Final Thoughts

Having a dedicated office space has completely transformed the way we work. Not only does it allow for better separation between home and work life, but it’s also been so fun to create a space that truly reflects the Home & Kind brand. I love the mix of thrifted, Ikea, Castlery, Target, and Amazon finds that came together to make this space both beautiful and functional.

If you’re looking to set up your own office, my biggest tip is to take your time finding the right pieces that work for you! It took a little while to get things just right, but now, I wouldn’t change a thing.

If you have any questions about the space, let me know in the comments!
