A few weeks ago I was in charge of a smoothie station at a youth activity for our church. I wanted to allow the teenagers to pick their own smoothie ingredients, but knew that could be risky. (Have you ever tossed together some random ingredients for a smoothie, then had it turn out inedible? I know I have!)
So I decided to make this printable to guide the kids in how to make a great-tasting smoothie—and now I’m sharing it with all of you!
This printable covers all every possible ingredient category so you can create a delicious smoothie on the fly. The formula includes the perfect balance of each ingredient so your smoothie is never too runny, too thick, too bland, etc.
Combine frozen fruit, a protein or fat, liquid, leafy greens, and optional sweetener for a tasty smoothie every time.
I let my son pick out all of the ingredients for our smoothie and he chose frozen pineapple, banana, yogurt, spinach, honey, and milk. It was a winner!
Print this smoothie formula guide, tape it in the cabinet, and have it ready for when you or your older kids want to make a smoothie. Just fill out the form below to get started!
