I’m here with another quick and easy recipe idea for you – a Pierogy Breakfast sampler featuring Mrs. T’s Loaded Baked Potato Pierogies. You can sub your favorite flavor of pierogies as well.
We love eating breakfast for dinner over here and this easy sampler is perfect for any time of day. This dish is also very versatile and flexible since you can load just about anything onto the tray. It’s a great way to use up produce or pantry items that you have laying around at the end of the week. And there’s something to be said about laying out everything in an appealing way and having it ready-to-eat that pleases even the pickiest of eaters.
I like using Mrs. T’s Loaded Baked Potato Pierogies in this recipe, but you can certainly use any flavor of pierogies you prefer. I saute up the pierogies and flavor them like hash browns or breakfast potatoes. Since they’re stuffed with creamy potatoes and cheese, they make a great potato replacement for this breakfast sampler. By sprinkling them with seasoned salt and fresh chopped parsley during the cooking process, they get the perfect breakfast flavor for your sampler.
While the pierogies are cooking, scramble some eggs, butter up some toast, and chop your fruit to layer on your sampler platter. I use a large cutting board and a couple serving dishes for all my ingredients.
