Don’t Eat Pete is one of our family’s favorite games! It’s fun for all ages, involves treats, and can be played for 5 minutes, or 50 minutes. It’s also fun because it can be played in a really small or really large group.
The rules are simple: Place a piece of candy in each square. Send the first person out of the room while the rest of the players choose which face will be “Pete”. Then the first person comes back into the room and starts eating the candy one piece at a time, trying not to eat “Pete”. When he/she picks up the candy that is on “Pete” everyone yells, “Don’t Eat Pete!” Then it is the next player’s turn.
I asked my friend Alexa, who is one of the most talented graphic designers I know, to create this Don’t Eat Pete board for me to share and I love how it turned out! The free pdf comes in black and white and you can leave it like that, or color it in. I also LOVE to laminate our Don’t Eat Pete boards because they will last forever and are wipeable.
A BIG THANKS to Alexa Zurcher from Pippi Post for designing this printable exclusively for Home and Kind.
