Valentine’s Day class parties at school are pretty much a rite of passage for kids. But sometimes it feels overwhelming to get together 20+ Valentines for each of my kids (not to mention that the amount of money I have to spend adds up quick). This year I grabbed some goodies at the dollar store and came up with 4 different Valentine options that are each $.33 or less.
Each of the tags that I created for the Valentines are available to download below. I would recommend printing on card stock to make them more durable. Hope this gives you some good ideas and options even if you’re less than excited about putting them together.
TIP: Have your child label the ‘to’ and ‘from’ on each card before you attach the gifts – it’ll be a lot easier than doing it after!
For the “You Rock” pop rocks Valentines, I used hot glue to attach them to the card stock. These generally come in a pack of 3 at the dollar store.
For the “You Blow Me Away” bubbles Valentine’s, I cut them out, then used a little hot glue to attach the label to the bubble container. You could also use tape if you’re having a child help.
The “Shine Bright Valentine” notes are fun and simple! You just stick a single glow stick through the center after you cut across both lines (an exacto knife is convenient here).
“Wheel You Be My Valentine” gifts are a fan favorite at my house. Simply use colored washi tape to attach the car to the Valentine.
