St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Snack Platter

I love putting together a few holiday-themed snack platters and this St. Patrick's Day gold at the end of the rainbow platter doesn't disappoint!  It's fun to include the kids in putting this together and testing their color knowledge to make the rainbow.  Not gonna lie, before last year I didn't know the order of the colors in the rainbow!  And a few of you let me know that ROY-G-BIV was a great way to remember and I haven't forgotten since (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet).

For this platter we used raspberries, orange slices, bananas, green grapes, blueberries and purple grapes.  Mini marshmallows make clouds on one side and Rolos make gold on the other side.  Of course, the kids went directly for the marshmallows and Rolos first ... but they did eventually get to the fruit and scarfed that down as well, so I'm calling it a win.

If you really wanted to challenge yourself, you could try putting together a vegetable rainbow platter (some of these colors are much harder to find in the veggie realm).  If you try this snack out, I'd love to see you post it on Instagram and tag me @homeandkind!
