Looking for a fun and simple back-to-school dinner for your kids? I have you covered!
For the past few years we have had a "school lunch"-themed back-to-school dinner the night before the kids start school. It is the easiest thing ever, and the kids think it is so fun. Win-win!

How to Host a "School Lunch"-Themed Back-to-School Dinner
We make the dinner more fun by eating off of brightly colored lunch trays, and decorating the table with apples and school supplies (whatever we have laying around!). Here's a list of what I use:
- Lunch trays
- Plastic utensils
- Rulers
- Staplers
- Mason jars
- Colored pencils
- Post-It Notes
- Scissors

For dinner we have all of the classic school lunch foods, which happen to be extremely easy to put together:
- Frozen popcorn chicken
- Frozen French fries
- Baby carrots and ranch dip cups
- Pudding cups
- Individual milk cartons

And that's it! The whole night couldn't be simpler, and we always have fun sitting down together and talking about the things they're looking forward to (or not looking forward to) about the upcoming school year.
