I had so much fun doing my summer dress roundup for you all, I decided to do a roundup of the best Bermuda shorts for summer, too!

Finding longer, flattering shorts for hot weather can certainly be a struggle. I recently ordered more than 12 pairs to try….and while some were great, some were definitely NOT great.

In this post, I’ll be sharing only the best of the best! I narrowed it down to my top five favorites, including no-stretch, baggy fit, to a more tight, biker-short fit. I’m excited to share them all with you!

1. Nordstrom 11-Inch Inseam Bermuda Short

If you’re looking for a longer Bermuda short, these Nordstrom ones are a great option! They have a very long inseam (about 11 inches), have a long of stretch to them, and are very comfortable. I’m wearing a size 6 here. I would recommend sizing down since they have so much stretch to them.

2. Old Navy Extra High-Rise Sky-High Straight Leg Shorts

These are a great straight cut jean short. They’re a little looser at the bottom, and I love the really high rise that comes up to the natural waist. While I don’t love the concealed button-fly, I can overlook it because I love everything else about these shorts! Super comfortable and affordable!

3. Gap Mid-Rise Loose-Fitting Jean Short

These are my favorite loose-fitting jeans. I sized up in these shorts to a size 28, because they don’t have any stretch. (That’s just how they’re meant to be!) I like the distressing, the light wash, and the looser opening at the leg. They do have a shorter inseam, so they’re not quite as long. If you want them longer, you can get the tall sizing. I ordered the regular and I’m 5’5″.

4. Gap High-Rise Bermuda Shorts with Washwell

These feel like really high quality jeans. They’re not as stretchy as some of the other ones, but I kind of like that about them. When you want a more structured denim dressed up with a nicer top, these are it! I like the raw hemline, the length that hits just above the knee, and the high rise. I’m wearing a size 27 here.

5. Madewell Road Tripper Biker Shorts

These are my favorite black shorts! It has a 10.5 inch inseam, which is great if you’re looking for a longer inseam. (Or you could cuff them to shorten the length.) They’re made from a stretchy material and are SO incredibly comfortable. Madewell knows how to do it! I will definitely be living in these shorts this summer. I got a size 28.
