Add one pound of ground beef and one can of drained, rinsed pinto beans to a large skillet.
Break apart the meat and smash the beans until the meat is fully cooked.
Add one packet of taco seasoning, then stir to combine.
Line up the crunchy taco shells in a baking dish. (I like to buy the taco shells with a flat bottom, which are easier to stand up in the dish!)
Sprinkle the tacos with cheese, then spoon in the meat mixture. Top with more cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Add your toppings of choice. We like tomatoes, shredded lettuce, avocado, pickled onions, sour cream, salsa, etc.
