Grilled Chicken Marinade
A great, neutral chicken flavors that can be used for taco meat or paired with any variety of sides.
- 2-3 lbs skinless chicken breasts, tenders, or thighs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp whole grain mustard
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar or sub coconut sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
In a large bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients.
Place chicken in the mixture and let marinade for 1-8 hours. (Do not marinate overnight, as the citrus can change the texture of the chicken if left too long.)
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Grill chicken for about until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, flipping once. (Chicken breasts take about 7 minutes per side, chicken thighs take about 5 minutes per side, and chicken tenders take about 3-4 minutes per side.)
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
