Homemade Granola


  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup cashews or pecans
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweet coconut
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup craisins/raisins optional


  • Preheating oven to 250 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut, and brown sugar, then set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, oil, and salt. 
  • Pour the liquid over the oat mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Spread granola mixture onto a sheet pan and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring halfway through to achieve an even color.
  • When finished baking, remove from the oven, and transfer to a large bowl. Add craisins/raisins (if using) and mix until evenly distributed.
